2015 – PEUGEOT 308 GT SW
Launched in September 2013, the new PEUGEOT 308 has already achieved an undeniable success. Awarded as International Car of the Year 2014 and also having been honored with the Interior of the Year award in 2014, the model has generated a very encouraging universal acceptanceWhat is certain is that a more sportive version needed a line that is already quite complete and well equipped from its first level. In this sense, the brand decided to bet on the 308 GT – a more powerful version of the current 308, intended for lovers of sports driving. Even more sporty lines and high performance engines are the main focuses of enthusiasm for this new 308 GTSports designMany are the unique details in terms of design present in this new 308 GT. From its reduced ground distance (7 mm less in the front and 10 mm less in the rear), to the incorporated friezes in the bottom of the body, that visually extend its sporty features, also the exclusive painting Magnetic Blue reinforces the attitude more bold design of this version, as well as the standard 18-inch bi-tone wheels. The signature LED light in the front remains, as it stands alone, a bold identity already present in the Allure version, the novelty are the direction-reversing lamps, which are presented under a completely innovative formula with lights LED sliding lights, from the inside to the outside. Also in the rear some details were taken into account in this sport version, such as the black lacquered diffuser and the generous double exhaust outlet. As for the interior, this was also not forgotten, keeping the sporting aptitude present in the exterior, such as aluminum pedals, chrome door doors, anthracite roof coverings, or red stitching not only on sports seats, all over the dashboard, the door panels, the shift lever bellows and the specific rugs, which make the interior more aggressive and exciting.
Regarding this chapter, the PEUGEOT development team has used all of its experience to achieve the best possible weight-to-power ratio, which is why it is necessary to use a chassis with specific configurations, with shock absorbers that adapt instantly to the type of chosen. This new version GT, receives in this way, two engines of sport character and disconnectable ESP, able to reach high performances, already fulfilling the norms Euro6:Petrol engine: 1.6 e-THP 205 hp CVM6This engine with a displacement of 1,598 cc combines:- A Twin-Scroll turbocharger, for performances and instant reactions from the low regimes;-Direct injection of gasoline that ensures ideal combustion points;- Variable lifting of the intake valves, together with the valve control shaft on the intake and exhaust (VTi, Variable valve and Timing injection technology);- Stop & Start (STT) to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions as well as comfort in urban driving.Diesel engine: 2.0 BlueHDi 180 cv EAT6With a displacement of 1,997 cc, it records CO2 emissions of only 103 g / km with a consumption of 25 km / l thanks to:- A common third generation ramp that offers a pressure that can reach the 2,000 bar;
– A new optimized combustion chamber in the air-fuel mixture achieved by 7-hole injectors;
– A compression ratio of 16.7: 1 to improve overall engine performance;
– An oil of very low viscosity, type 0W15.
Driving experience exacerbated
Also the driving experience has been maintained since it is one of the strengths present in the current 308. The exclusive leather steering wheel with GT inscription at its base gives the driver the ideal setting for a great experience and adrenaline rush. The dashboard’s dashboard and Redline theme – red and black – give the 308 GT a more sporty look. The driving mode, when the Driver Sport Pack is active, dynamizes the sport aspect present in this version in the following aspects:- Amplified engine sound,
– Red instrument panel , – Instrument panel display
of power and torque supplied, boost pressure and longitudinal and transverse accelerations,
– Assisted steering and accelerated pedal mapping,
– Higher EAT6 transmission reactivity, with steering wheel manipulation.
Regarding quality, both exterior and interior level, the care taken in every detail and finish is noticed, from the foam panel, to the steering wheel covered in perforated leather and to the friezes of the doors protected thermally, intensifying the pleasure aboard the New 308 GT.

A total of 6 colors will be available for the new GT version of the 308 line, of which 1 is smooth and 5 metalized (including the exclusive Blue magnetic color).
In relation to the interiors, two possibilities of interior configuration are available, predominating in both the black tone and the details in red:
Leather / Alcantara GT Pack (standard): Partially Leather Benches (TEP) / Alcantara with red stitching and GT rugs;
GT Leather Pack (optional): leather seat with red stitching, driver and passenger seat with electric lumbar adjustment, massage / heating function, GT rugs and driver’s seat with longitudinal / tilt / height adjustment and 2 memory .
2015 – PEUGEOT 308 R HYBRID CONCEPT
– The hybrid model of integral traction produces 500 hp being able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4 seconds, emitting only 70 g / km of CO2.
Peugeot unveiled the first images and information regarding the 308 R Hybrid Concept, which will be shown within a few days at the Shanghai Motor Show in China.The concept produces a total of 500 hp and 730 Nm of torque, combining the performance of a 1.6 THP petrol engine with four-cylinder gasoline developing 270 hp and two electric motors, one on each axle producing 115 hp each, leaving the car with wheel drivThe six-speed automatic transmission with butterflies on the steering wheel is responsible for the movement of the front wheels, and the electric motor drives the rear wheels. The set allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 4 seconds and travel the distance of one kilometer in 22 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h and announces CO2 e70 g / km.
The weight / power distribution is 60/40, with a ratio of 3.1 kg / hp. The powerful hybrid comes with four driving modes, and the “Hot Lap” exploits the full potential of the set. The “Track” mode allows a delivery of 400 hp and 530 Nm, mainly from the combustion engine. Road mode has 300 hp and 400 Nm. Finally, the “ZEV” gives priority to the use of the front electric block.The concept, the successor to the 308 R Concept shown in 2013, also inherits Quartz Concept aesthetic elements, with larger air intakes integrating LED direction indicators and a matte blue / black color scheme on the body.
Developed by Peugeot Sport, the 308 R Hybrid Concept has 235/35 R19 tires, 80 mm wider tracks, reconfigured front and rear, modified bumpers and new grille with checkered pattern. At the rear, it features a small spoiler at the top of the trunk lid, a bumper with two air intakes that help maintain battery temperature. The interior has four individual seats with bacquets leather seats and a different aspect of the 308 production, with predominant black and blue colors. The center console has been extended, there are details in red on the controls, steering wheel and center console.
